The Jeep Grand Cherokee boasts a capable chassis, comfortable interior that’s utility useful or fashion friendly, competitive powertrains. Iowa 2012 Jeep Compass
Compass features soft-touch points for added comfort. There’s also a high-level of standard refinement including: air conditioning, Remote keyless and illuminated entry, LED illuminated cup holders, cruise control, bright trim, power windows, mirrors, and locks. The Jeep Compass cabin is roomy and comfortable. The front bucket seats are very comfortable without being soft. The Sport is available with Jeep’s stain repellant upholstery, a rugged fabric that’s stain, odor and static resistant. The front seat jacks upward, which is nice because the long dash makes it hard to see the ground in front of the car, even though the hood is short. The long dash is a result of the sloped windshield.

West Valley 2012 Jeep Liberty
The Jeep Liberty has better off-road capability and more towing capacity than most of its competitors. It offers generous cargo space and a high seating position. But it’s heavy for a compact SUV, and it lacks the handling and fuel economy of most of its rivals. If off-road capability is important, the Liberty is a good choice; otherwise several rivals will handle better and go easier on gas.
Liberty’s subtle combination of fluid forms and high-tech functionality makes every ride worth taking. Add some sophistication with an available leather-wrapped steering wheel. All models feature steering wheel-mounted audio controls.
The Liberty rides firmly, but irons out most bumps quite well and is stable on the highway. The Liberty sacrifices on-road handling for off-road prowess. The Liberty leans in turns and has a floppy feeling in quick changes of direction. Still, it’s rugged and capable off road; if we were heading up a rough logging road, we’d be pleased to be in a Liberty. Inside, the Liberty has plenty of room for five. However, we view it as not quite up to expectations in terms of materials quality and fit and finish, with a lot of hard-plastic surfaces. Still, it’s not an unpleasant cockpit. Cargo room is a plus. The Liberty’s second-row seats fold flat, as does the front passenger seat, to provide plenty of room for hauling boxes, bikes and life’s other accessories. 2012 Jeep Patriot IA
The Jeep Patriot is unmistakably from the Jeep garage, with its squared-off lines, seven-slot grille, and round headlights. The Patriot and its sibling, the Jeep Compass, are based on a car platform, but still deliver moderate off-road ability. The four-door Patriot has plenty of room inside. There’s adult-size headroom and legroom for rear-seat passengers. The 60/40-split rear seat folds flat, and a flat-folding front passenger seat is optional; with all the seats flat, you can slide an eight-foot kayak inside, for example.
